And now due to the current situation, other alternative methods such as lip reading are impossible due to the wearing of masks.The Bonga Application is set to help solve this problem by converting speech to text and text to speech. This will allow the deaf to read the text representation of the speech and the rest to hear the speech representation of the text replies.With Bonga, users will be able to:1. Create an account using their emails.2. Login.3. Create Chat-Rooms e.g. "School" etc. with sub Chat-Rooms e.g. "Math Class", "Class Trip" etc. for their convenience. Chats in the Chat-Rooms can also be saved for later referrals.4. Save commonly used words or phrases that can be accessed in the Chat-Room to save time on typing. They can also set priorities to the saved words and phrases to arrange them in the order they please.5. Open Chat-Rooms and click microphone for speech input which will be displayed in the chat. Also write text which will be converted to speech on clicking send.6. Give feedback regarding any concern.
